Belgian artist Lieven de Boeck (b. 1971) explores the public domain as daily reality and context for art practice through his ongoing project, the dictionary of space. This fully illustrated, thoughtful and poetic artists book featuring a cover with a mysterious die-stamped inscription develops in text and image architectural themes and concepts including occupation, appropriation, border, territory, representation and identity.
